The Process
Made entirely by hand.
Eight steps from consultation to completion. Nothing rushed. Nothing compromised.
"We do not use standard blocks. We do not rush. Every garment begins with a blank sheet of paper and ends with something that belongs entirely to one person."
— Dato' Azlan Ibrahim, Founder
The Eight Steps
From Consultation to Completion
Step 1
The Consultation
Every bespoke journey begins with an unhurried conversation. We learn your lifestyle, your occasions, your aesthetic inclinations. No pressure, no rush — only genuine understanding.
- —In-depth lifestyle and occasion assessment
- —Review of fabric swatches and seasonal collections
- —Style profiling and fit preference discussion
- —Discussion of construction preferences (canvas, lining, buttons)
Duration: 60–90 minutes
Step 2
Precise Measurements
Our master cutters take over 40 individual measurements, capturing not just dimensions but posture, movement, and the nuances of how you carry yourself.
- —Over 40 body measurements recorded
- —Posture and shoulder balance analysis
- —Movement and ease allowance calibration
- —Pattern drafting begins from your unique measurements
Duration: 30–45 minutes
Step 3
Fabric Selection
With your profile established, we guide you through our curated library of the world's finest cloths. We advise on drape, weight, and seasonality to ensure your choice is as practical as it is beautiful.
- —Access to over 2,000 fabric swatches from premier mills
- —Expert guidance on weight and season suitability
- —Colour and pattern consultation under natural and artificial light
- —Custom fabric sourcing available on request
Duration: 45–60 minutes
Step 4
Pattern Drafting
A unique pattern is drafted entirely by hand for each client. No shared blocks, no standard templates. Your pattern is yours alone.
- —Entirely bespoke pattern created from scratch
- —Digital archive of your pattern for future orders
- —Adjustments for any asymmetry or physical consideration
- —Full canvassing structure planned and mapped
Duration: 3–5 days
Step 5
The Baste Fitting
The garment is first constructed in its raw form — loosely assembled so we can assess the fundamental line and silhouette before committing the cloth to its final form.
- —Full assessment of balance, pitch, and silhouette
- —Shoulder, chest, and waist suppression adjusted
- —Sleeve pitch and length calibrated
- —All changes marked and documented
Duration: 60 minutes
Step 6
Master Construction
Our craftsmen hand-pad the lapels, hand-stitch the buttonholes, and fuse the canvas to the chest piece by hand — invisible processes that define how the garment will move with you for decades.
- —Full floating canvas chest construction
- —Hand-padded lapels for natural roll
- —Hand-sewn buttonholes throughout
- —Sleeve and lining set and finished by hand
Duration: 10–14 days
Step 7
The Forward Fitting
With the garment nearly complete, this fitting assesses the final silhouette, button stance, and all finishing details. Most garments require only minor refinements at this stage.
- —Final silhouette and proportion review
- —Trouser seat, rise, and break confirmed
- —Button and buttonhole alignment verified
- —Lining hang and pocket placement checked
Duration: 45 minutes
Step 8
Final Delivery
The completed garment is presented to you with a full care and maintenance briefing. Your pattern remains archived for life, making future orders a seamless experience.
- —Full garment presentation and quality inspection
- —Care, storage, and maintenance guidance
- —Complimentary first press and minor adjustments within 30 days
- —Pattern permanently archived for future commissions
Duration: 30 minutes
